The founder

Alec Langbeen

Founder, Fractional CIO

  • A decade in technology and managed services, help desk to leadership.
  • Led the IT onboarding for eight acquisitions in under two years for a PE-backed field services operator.
  • Thirty-plus client technology onboardings.

Working with clients growing through acquisition, I saw the same thing again and again. Good teams stretched thin. Leadership focused on growth and putting out fires. IT focused on keeping everything running. And nobody had time to step back, look at the technology as a whole, and decide what comes next. Keelson was built to do that, as an independent adviser, not another IT firm.

How Keelson works

Keelson advises and coordinates. Your IT firms deliver.

Keelson gathers and evaluates the information and, at the Helm level, researches the options and coordinates the actions you approve. You make the decisions and authorize the spending. Your existing IT firms and internal teams do the technical work. Keelson doesn’t replace them, and it isn’t one of them.

The Independence Standard

Keelson works for the operator. Only the operator.

Keelson takes no commission, margin or payment of any kind from any provider or solution it reviews or recommends.

Every recommendation lists the options, including doing nothing or using your existing IT firm or internal team, and says plainly whether Keelson would benefit from any of them. A report can say that no action is needed.

Technology shouldn’t get harder every time you buy another company.

If technology is getting harder to see, budget, govern or move forward as you grow, apply for the 30-day assessment.

Or book a 25-minute call. No deck. No pitch.
